Sheila understands the process for regaining health, the scan and the remedies she handles are very good. Also, just as important to me, Sheila's disposition, humility and personal qualities make the whole process a lot easier and I feel in good hands. All this remotely!

Stress a Physical Emotion
Many of us dismiss stress and may even declare we thrive on it, some pressure in our lives is good for us, but if it’s prolonged it can start to do physical damage.
Our body does not distinguish one type of stress from another, it responds in the same way, although at times we may feel the Adrenal rush.
Everyday factors accumulate, skipping meals, not exercising, travelling to work, family & money issues are all part of life but will all cause our stress response to activate and that’s without any of the big stuff such as work ,moving home, bereavement or divorce!
We need to develop coping mechanisms and strategies in order to sustain good health!
The Adrenal gland is responsible for producing the hormones necessary to balance our ‘stress response’ and so it is vital that we support or feed the adrenals. Once the adrenals are depleted it becomes harder to ‘cope’, our Thyroid gland can become under or over active leading to metabolism problems. Excess Cortisol produced during the ‘flight or flight ‘response can make it difficult to lose weight. Our body becomes acidic, again making weight loss difficult but also an environment for disease.
Symptoms ranging from digestive problems to skin rashes can all be caused by weakened adrenals. The acid produced under emotional pressure will accumulate in our muscles and intestines leading to cramps and a ‘leaky gut’. Having a fragile gut will allow for fungus and bacteria to gather producing varied undesirable conditions, Candida Albicans thrives in such a terrain!
The list of symptoms is so great that to list them here would be boring for you, so in short as soon as you start to feel unwell, be it headaches, digestion, blood pressure or feeling unable to cope, take time to review what’s going on in your life.
Many things we have no influence over, but others we have. Eat regularly, including a little protein with each meal, make time for exercise, take time out, reduce caffeine & alcohol. Just a few simple steps can improve things.
For adrenal support you can be assessed, your sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous system may show as out of balance, advice on the correct adrenal support and lifestyle for you should help
